With the use of mobile laser-hardening robots and the use of an adaptive laser head for additive manufacturing, BILSING expands its production range. This investment will allow tools or other instruments of any size to precise curing and thus make the tool more durable. The robot’s mobility allows BILSING to optimize added-value process because all tools can be hardened on the customer’s site. Therefore, there are no additional logistic costs for the customer. Alternatively, the customer has the option to send the tools to a BILSING plant for hardening. An additional adaptable laser head enables the precise application on steel tools as well as on already installed tools and components, which can be reworked or repaired without dismantling. Even sophisticated three-dimensional shapes can be processed this way.
